Just an hour over water....Colonial del Sacramento. We got of the catboat and sighed, because, yeah let me tell you why...it is quiet, it is lazy, sluggish, slow, languid, tardy, listless, laid-back and we love it! No worries about pickpockets, muggers, violence. It is friendly, kind, benevolent, good-natured, mild and so are the people. Time stood still here so we can take it easy also. We learn that a part of town is on the World Heritage list and so it should. Beautiful streets with even more beautiful houses and the most beautiful design and colours....cars of forgotten times, take a peek and sigh with us....
We did absolutely nothing but visit another town, Carmelo, sounds just as sweat and so it was. And we cycled along the beach. As I said; the word is MELLOW........
